Anyone going to the Jeep Jamboree in Amarillo in May? Are those events really all that great or what.

I am all for the big Texas get together. Lets get something in the works!

Beaumont, Texas here....... YO Ranch Jeep Jambo July 6th - 8th... Anyone heard bout it? I heard the announcement, but nothin since.. I am goin if it's happenin.. We hunt bout 30 mins from there and that is beautiful country..

That sounds like a great time! Does everyone just camp out on the beach? I can bring a couple of other jeeps along as well.

yea, the plan is everyone's on their own after dinner on thur., then meet up at malequite beach (island entrance) fri. morning, set up camp around mile marker 15 (tons of room) and get to playing... you can camp on the beach or find a hotel if you'd like... i'm thinking (hoping?) most will be camping... i will be

Poor East Texas-raised boy stuck in the middle of godforsaken no wheelin' concrete everywhere flat-***** Arlington. Why the heck does ANYONE want to live in a big city?!? 2 hours to get to Gilmer --- PLEASE! It used to take me 15 minutes when I used to wheel there before it was even opened as Barnwell. Spoiled I guess....

yup... i just moved away from marshall 9 months ago (raised in garrison)... gilmer was 40 minutes away...
