I had to buy a new set, due to my mistake. Before I put the front trackbar on, I took the johnny joint apart to clean and re-grease it. Well I didn't get the snap ring back in all the way, and in Ballinger (45 mins south of here) It let go and I lost my steering response. Made it back to BGap in 1.5 hrs going 30mph on the shoulder of hwy 83!! I made sure the snap ring was in for good 2nd time around!

Then lets organize one, just like the Corvette club. Meet up somewhere in Abilene like FFB on Buffalo Gap road and head out with the families to eat dinner somewhere an hour or less away.

How much did they charge for the regear?

They provided everything, gears, master install kits, oil, everything except the used front carrier I provided. Out the door price was $1070. They charge $450 labor + parts to regear both front and rear. Best price in this area by far!

Wow... I was thinking I'd have to go to Houston or austin for the regear but 10 minutes up he road sounds a lot better. I'll have to give them a call.

Absolutely, they are great guys to work with. I dropped the Jeep off on Friday and picked it up at lunch on Tuesday. Went smooth as silk!

Anyone from our area interested in going to the Turkey Crawl @ Rock Trails of Tolar?

Not 100% sure I can go yet, but trying to get free.
