2016 Jeep Jamboree Texas Spur in Llano 3/17-3/19, 12th annual

Anyone in here get signed up to go to the Texas Spur this year? It would be great to put some face with screen names around here again like last year.

This year I plan to wheel BOTH days and not do this:

I'll get a spot at the RV park again this year.

It's usually better keeping the wheels down. Both for the jeep and yourself.

I totally agree, it wasn't too fun!

It looks like I waited too long and the RV spots are all taken, I figured that. If anyone knows someone who has some land or even a front yard I can part my RV in then I do not mind paying for it.

Thanks!

My son & I are coming down from Oklahoma, this will be our first Texas Spur and looking forward to some good wheeling. Been watching videos and some of it looks pretty tough. We will be in the white CJ7

Looks like you had a rough landing last year.

That's awesome! I can't wait to take my son but he's a little too young for me to be spending the big bucks on him just yet.

The spur is super fun, it can be challenging but the trail guides are fantastic and you shouldn't have any problem. It'll be cool seeing an older rig too, there are tons and tons of JK's, plenty of TJ's, some YJ's but not to many CJ's and before.

Yeah, the jeep had a "trail rated" badge on the side but apparently they are not "road rated" which is what did us in, haha
