Tj Moving to Oklahoma City

Good day everyone,

I have finally joined a forum now that i have got a Jeep that I can be proud of. As of now my wife and I are getting orders to Oklahoma in February. I wanted to get a head start on finding some information on off-roading there and I was hoping that I may be able to meet some people that would be willing to help. I am looking forward to the move since alot of people around here in San Diego have been telling me that the wheeling is rather good out that way. I am more interested in trails and some rock crawling as long as it gets too hairy since my TJ is still a daily driver.

Assuming you are with the military, military jeepers has a forum with lots of local guys. Check out http://www.okjeepthing.com/index.php as well. We have monthly runs in and out of town/state. Most of us drive our jeeps there and back and run 35 and below for tires. We meet the first tues of every month at the hideaway.

Depends on the run and time of year. Our major run for "wheelin for the wounded" had 20 + from our club and a total of 80. Our run to Bridgeport in Jan is expecting 8-12 which is about average for our monthly runs.
