Anyone know of some good places to go near Lawrence, KS? So far I've just jacked around on some no maintenance roads on the west side of Clinton Lake.

Welcome to the base bud. I've seen the jeep. If you need help with anything on it let me know. If I don't have the tool for the job...I can get them down the road.

tuttle is the closest wheeling spot. 30 from manhattan and about 45 from post. as for housing the bluffs are nice but from what i hear pretty expensive. had a buddy that lived at quinton point and those were pretty nice apts. and also have a friend living at pebblebrook apartments and those are pretty nice as well. quinton point/the bluffs you'd be driving in from the junction gate and pebblebrook you'd take k-18 to the ogden gate. you'll def have to wheel with us when you get back

Just thought I'd say hi, I'm in the Manhattan/JC area, currently deployed and no jeep bought, but I plan on having a jeep by the time I return home. Hope to meet some of you out at the Tuttle ORV park.
