What kind of spare parts should I bring on this trail if any? I don't have any axle ujoints because the ones I have wont work in my new axle (newer D30 with the stronger ujoints). I plan on Bringing my spare front DS and it has ujoints on it that will work on the rear shaft if need be.

About the only spare parts I carry anymore are u-joints. Both the axle and drive shaft ones. I carry 2, one axle and 1 ds.
I also carry a foot of fuel line, a braided brake hose, air locker repair kit, a fan belt, a spare spring shackle, Nuts/bolts, duct tape and bailing wire. Can kind of tell what I have broken on trail by what I carry as parts...and upgraded(axles, brakes, drive shafts, all have been upgraded so I don't need spares). And tools...spare parts do no good if you can't put them in while on trail. |
