Trail Recommendations

Anyone have some good recommendations for a trail this weekend near Denver? Don't mind the difficult stuff unless there is a lot of snow on it.

Theres going to be a storm in the higher elevations this weekend. The trails in Idaho Springs should still be doable though. They might have snow but it wouldn't be more than a couple inches. Trails near boulder would also be open.

If you are going on Saturday I might be interested in heading up as well.

Check out www.traildamage.com to see whats around those towns.

Be careful using trail damage! Check last time trail was run. Many are much different then described. Apex area above central city will also be fun running this weekend.

Just use common sense with traildamage. I keep hearing about people having issues with trail ratings, but their descriptions are usually in the ballpark of what to expect.

I've never had an issue with the Traildamge.com site. I understand that trails "change" constantly. Snow wise, I was above tree line yesterday. The snow pack in Summit is non-existant. Just stay off of shelf roads so you don't slide off and tumble to your death!
