I'm slowly getting over whatever it is I had...I MIGHT be down for a scenic run...I know Don was looking to go to Spring Creek....but I'd prefer something more tame.

Me, Don and Meloyelo were thinking Spring Creek. They said Sat. or Sun. -but I think Melo is only down for Sat.

I am good for either. I haven't run Spring Creek and am really excited about it.

Thumbs up? Thumbs down?

Im up for either day.

The wife wants to go on Sunday (she has been watching the weather reports).

Looks like we will be getting some decent snow in the high country over the next couple of days. But what does the weather man know?

I'll throw one out there - Switzerland Trail? Some nice aspen groves up there.

The mine is optional, of course

With the snow, Spring Creek is probably not a good option.

I'm good for what ever day. We just need to descide so that I can plan my weekend. If sunday is better great! I would suggest something a little more challenging than switzerland. Such as Caribou Creek/Eldorado Mountain, St.Vrain/Coney Flats, These all have some great viewing of aspens and can be as easy hard as you want to make them.

OR???????

How bad is the snow going to be? I didn't hear.

St. Vrain/Coney flats sounds good as well. I wanted to do Spring Creek if it is not going to snow us in. But, again, I just want to get out and put in in 4 wheel drive!

So far what I have seen is 12in. of snow 12,000 feet and higher, 6in. of snow 9000 feet and higher, and 1-2in. in the foothills? We'll see what happens! But it looks like Melo wants to go Sunday now which is fine if that is ok with you. That would probably be best to give the snow a little time to melt off any how. It is suppose to be cold though this weekend. I guess I won't be using my new/used half doors that I just picked up.

Later,

Don

Lets do MSV/Coney - if you haven't done Coney though you aren't missing anything. Aside from the water crossing it is a horrible trail.
