Well, Johnny Park is showing open, there's also Switzerland Trail. Switzerland is pretty easy as long as you stay on the main part and don't take any spurs. Johnny is a bit harder when it's dry, in my opinion, probably significantly harder when wet.

I'm going to hit the sack and I'll jump online in the morning to see what you think.

Not sure. I looked up Miller, and it looks like it's got some shelf spots that probably wouldn't be too smart if it's wet or snowy...I like being dirty side down

We thinking Switzerland?

Yep, Safeway parking lot. We usually meet on the gas station side of it.

Nick, I'm thinking poser rock may not be in the cards today...especially if it's wet. That, and I wanna really show that damn rock when I get my 32s

Grrrr....take 2 here. Lucky me, went to advanced mode to make sure I didn't lose anything and that was the exact moment that JF didn't wanna respond

Anyway...airing down and disconnecting at the parking lot

I usually go up the right, but some jackas$hole dug some pretty good ruts in it, so decided to veer left.

Warmup pose here

Quite a bit of the uphill stretch was like this. Tiny bit of snow, good amount of mud.

It quickly turned to this

I got denied big time trying to punch through this stuff, so RollerHman led from about the second obstacle or so up to poser rock.

This is as close as I dared get to poser rock. Covered with snow, and a big puddle right at the base of it. I wasn't even gonna try.

We turned back at poser rock - it was just too much work just getting there, and the trail keeps going higher afterward. Some pics from the way down:

I'm very impressed with Ben's rig. Same amount of lift as Chris (renscot), but substantially more trimming. His 31s fit well.

to be continued....

Is this tire stuffed? I can't tell

Poser Trench...Sailingnut and Renscot know which spot I'm talking about

Ben's turn

And, all aired up and connected back at the parking area.

It was a good run, no carnage except maybe a little bit of the side of my passenger slider where it decided to shove a rock out of my way. Pretty sloppy up there though. The way back down was almost a stream the way the snow was melting.

Ben, give me a few and I'll zip up all the pics in hi-res with nothing deleted. There were quite a few pics that didn't make the cut here. I'll post the addy for the zip file as soon as I get it uploaded.

Hey Arlo....I was looking at the dates of the times I've been up to JP....it's been a year since you took me on JP for my first true ZJ run. Quite a bit has changed!

Then:
