reasonable Jeep parts?

Our PD has a 98 Grand Cherokee as one of their vehicles. The thing keeps dimming the dash lights at night on it's own but if you jiggle the switch a little, you will get them back. Or just press in a bit on the face of the switch.

Where can I go, other than the dealer, for a replacement switch? We are a small town and don't exactly have a huge parts budget.

Thanks all!

Before you consider complete replacement, remove the switch and take a close look at all the connections. It sounds as if it's just a loose connection that may be fixed with zero money. Otherwise, try a pull & pay. those switches are some of the first things to be removed from junkers, but if you find a place that has some fresh metal in their inventory, you might get lucky. Also, before you head out there, try to find what range of vehicles that switch would work for (i.e. make sure you know the years that are compatible, as well as other makes and models).

Check out if the above does not fix your problems, they have pretty much everything other than dealer only parts.
