McAllister is open.
Ptarmigan pass has no report.
I would think that as McAllister is open Ptarmigan will also be open. There may be snow/mud at the pass. The river crossing may be...exciting too, as it may be deep (I almost lost a truck in that creek, crossing it when it was VERY deep and the engine sucked in some water).

Did this loop last year - very pretty, cool trail. It is a long loop that requires a decent trek across Shrine Pass. Not sure sure this years conditions but as mentioned the water can get high in places. Doable just be aware. Also - it is a clockwise loop but there is a section at the beginning coming off Shrine Pass that utilizes both directions as traffic entering the loop on the Ptarmigan side shares the trail with traffic exiting the loop from the McAllister side. Be prepared to have to make room for 2 way travel in a very tight spot - ask me how I know.......

EDIT : nvrmnd just noticed the date on the thread. Food for thought anyway
