Moab/Blanca Peak area June 24-29

Anyone going to be at Moab during June 24 till the 27th? I'll also be around Blanca Peak, CO the 28 or 29th if anyone is nearby and wants to take a run.

I'm looking for a few jeeps to go with.

Ships passing in the night...I'll be doing Blanca on the 22nd, I think.

Be sure to go with at least one other person up Blanca - that isn't a trail to run solo. Lots of off camber cliffs. Beautiful area though.

Hit up Zapata Falls while you're down there (bring water shoes): https://plus.google.com/100308904544...ut?gl=us&hl=en

If you remember, let me know what it's like as far as snow, etc.

Sorry I couldn't post sooner, but data cell reception was crummy every time I tried. Blanca was a fun ride! Some small snow drifts at the top, but otherwise in great shape. I would suggest getting an early start on it; if you get stuck with an afternoon rain storm, it'll be quite the chore going up.

As an aside, ArloGuthroJeep is 100% correct in that Zapata Falls is totally worth getting your feet wet! A must see as long as you are in the area.
