Loan for the weekend: CO2 tank or portable air compressor

My CO2 tank is empty and needs to be pressure tested (which takes 1 week). Does anyone in the Boulder area have a tank/portable compressor I can borrow for the weekend? I'll throw you some beer/cash to make it worth your time & air

Thanks,
Ryan

Thanks I appreciate the offer, but looking for something a bit closer.

I am headed up to Lake McConaughy this weekend. I haven't been up there since probably 2005 when my Jeep was bone stock and was fairly easy to get stuck in the sand. Now I want to see if I can even get stuck

Hey Jim, do you still go up there for flying? Has it changed at all?

I assume you are going up 76 and not going past FoCo. If you are going past FoCo you can borrow my 20lb setup.

Sorry I didn't see this Ryan, you're more than likely there now. Call me next time.

I would've loaned you my setup, though I doubt you even need it with as high as the water is right now. Not much sand wheeling.

We were out there Memorial Day weekend and had the truck fully aired up with bald tires and had no issues.

Water is down quite a bit from the start of the season.

Had a blast out there, but man has the economy been through the wringer. So many of my old favorites were shut down.

What is normally a busy 4th of July weekend, was less busy than normal weekends 8 years ago.

Jeep did great and had a blast driving in the soft stuff. Pulled one person out. It was unstoppable. I tried to get stuck and couldn't.

It's funny how just having 4wd at all makes all the difference out there. I had my tow rig in 2wd and couldn't move at all. As soon as I engaged the front, it was like I was on tank treads.

I have a feeling that we'll have a couple years of the lake being as high as it is, then back to the way it was 3 years ago when you had to drive almost a mile on fluffy sand to get to water.

Also, Memorial Day was less busy than I've seen it in years past. I'm sure fuel prices are driving the lack of people.
