I thought we were meeting at the trailhead at 10:00am?

How long of a drive from Boulder to the trailhead? My directions say to take I70 to 119- not sure how to get there from Boulder.

Melody and I should be good to go at whatever time.

Jay

Jenny Creek is just up Rollins Pass - I70 would be a bit of a hike.

Well you could take 70 to US6 to 119/72...

That would be better. Mapquest doesn't know the redneck ways. Arlo's route is more scenic, and a bit more direct.

I'm not sure from Boulder the best way but from Denver the best way is:
I-70 to hwy 58 into Golden
North on 93 to hwy 72 [ coal creek canyon]
Take that west to 119 then 2 miles south to Rollinsville.

I have to be back on the pavement by 3:30pm- is that going to cause any issues?

Jay someone (assuming they are comfortable) can always split off early if need be and there are sufficient people there...IMHO Jenny Creek shouldn't take more then 30 minutes for a group of 4 to get through. It is the drive to and from the trailheads that takes ~25-30 minutes.

if we meet at the first safeway off of 28th that will be the one at 28th and arapaho. then we should be able to go two blocks north to canyon and take that up to 119. then into rollinville. am i right?

That's pretty much what I was figuring as well Ben. That way we didn't need to back-track any, and from Boulder up shouldn't take all that long.

Is this trail going to be open with all of the rain? It has been raining in the Ranch for like 3 hours.

I've still not had anything around here. I could use the rain on the lawn. Hopefully the trail should still be fine. Has anyone heard anything about the weather tomorrow? Just debating if I want to put the top up or not.

I would like to know as well. It's raining here and my top is hanging in my garage. I need to get a soft top, but those cost real money.

Shag- I had to replace a soft top at work today, and I took home his old one. It's just the canvas- no windows. I think it needs new zippers or zipper ends, but if you need the canvas as a bikini top or something, it's yours if you want it.
