I'm in Avon. I wouldn't mind meeting up if it was somewhere along the I-70 corridor. Tommyknockers in Idaho Springs?
I'd be up for a meet and greet, and a choke and puke. Have some kinks to work out on the TJ before I do any trials. Also, I am in Fort Collins.

I would choose the Boulder area if looking for a compromise between Denver and Ft. Collins. Oscar Blues in Lyons is a good place for lunch. Not sure about trail closures right now, but Johnny Park Rd., Pierson Park Rd. and Poll Hill come to mind that are not too far from Lyons.
I just moved to Colorado as well and have been looking to get together with the locals. I found the Mile-Hi Jeep Club which is doing their Greenhorn run on Switzerland Trail February 23rd. It is supposed to be a very scenic and easy trail with snow expected.
