Should we try and do a trail ride and lunch, or just a M&G at a choke and puke someplace?

I'm thinking somewhere between Ft Collins and Denver or something along those lines, any suggestions would be awesome too as I'm not super familiar with the area.

We need some input from the locals. I know nothing about the Denver area; grew up in Manitou/Colo Sprgs and now live in Lake George.

Would be nice to hit up a local trail for lunch maybe? Gonna have to be something anyone can feel comfortable on to get more interest.

Depending on weather, there are some easier trails out of Monument, back up and around Rampart Range road. Not sure they are open or not after the fires? Anyone know?

Fern Creek 2/2
Ice Cave Creek 2/2
Balanced Rock 3/4
Mount Herman 2/2
Long Hollow Rd 2/2
Winding Stairs 6/8

Winding Stairs, for those that want to tackle some tough stuff, especially if it has snow..

Maybe some trails and a lunch somewhere?

If not, someone needs to come up with a eats spot that we can all get to, and agree on...

Input... I just moved back to the state and have no ideas on trail conditions. I do plan to go out and check some out, once I get my locker and winch installed in a couple weeks.
