The Gulches Stewardship Education & Clean Up Run 8/05/12

There is a stewardship run for Stay The Trail at the gulches. For trail clean up and documentation. Trails to be ran are The Gulches (Metberry, Longwater and Hackett) & FR895. If you want to help please come.

Where: The Gulches (Metberry, Longwater, Hackett) & FR895
When: Sunday, August 5th; Meeting at 10am.
What to Bring: License-Plated Vehicle, yourself, friends, gloves.
RSVP or Questions: Email Ambassadors@staythetrail.org

Meeting Place: West Stump Rd (Co Rd 66) on the south side of Westcreek, CO at 10am.

We have heard a few stories that show the area outside of West Creek and Deckers could use the help of the OHV community and our volunteers.

Our goal is to saturate the trails with responsible role models, document maintenance needs that we can’t complete ourselves. These areas were all affected by the Haymen fire and head towards the South Platte Rive, many ending at the county line. This is a major issue because many people continue past where the trails end down to the river.

These trails are all relatively easy and we expect to cover plenty of ground at a quick pace. The highlighted trails are all the routes we will tackle.
