Going jeeping on Sunday.

It is time to jeep.
The weather be dammed, I want to jeep.
So to that...I am going.
I also got one of those "spy copters" and am dyeing to take it to the mountains and film a jeep run.

Sunday.(I could do Saturday, but...)
Someplace close and not tooo hard.
Yankee hill, Red Elephant, Saxon Mountain, Bill Moore...Something!

Do not think Red cone or that system is open, or twin cone or Spring creek(and this trail is usually full of tools and fools anyhow).

I went to Russell Gulch outside of Central City last Sunday. It's an old ghost town full of mining history, tons of old mines in the area. Trails aren't hard but there are some fun spurs that can get you flexing. Views were incredible! Getting ready to post on trail reports thread. Just an option for you.

When are y'all headed? I'd love to go with some folk instead of just wandering around alone

Be watchful.

There is a spot on that trail that is soooo tippy.
I strapped my jeep up to a tree to stabilize it a bit.
Be careful.

It prolly wasn't as bad as it looked.
Although...
I hate off camber.

Red Elephant hill:
It is a fairly steep narrow rocky trail. It is 1 way (up hill) due to it's narrowness. And there was a couple places I used both lockers. And the tippy spot. There is still some snow on top too. I don't think the Empire Hilton is accessible right now. Nor Bill Moore lake. I could be wrong on the BML part, we didn't try(there is that swamp...).
I would rate it one locker anyhow...A 6 out of 10???
