Empire/ Bill Moore/ Mill creak?

Any one have an idea of what this trail is like this time of year? I know close to the lake will be vary deep with snow but how about the trail up to mill creak and to the cabin? Thx guy and/or gals

They are still adding to the snow pack, not subtracting. I doubt you'll get far at all.

If your talking about the Empire Hilton you might be able to reach it in June. I can't speek for that particular trail but on the other side of the valley (Bard Ck. and Dem/Rep Mt.) at the same alt.to the SW snow pack is in the 10' range and just over the hill (Fall River Res./Chinn Lk.) to the NE there are drifts up to 12-14' feet.

Best for snowmobiles not wheeled vehicles.

I was talking about the Hilton. I knew that last year it was accessible in May that's why I was wondering about it this year.

I made it within a mile of Fall River reservoir (just below chinns lake) a few weeks ago. Just hiked the rest of the way. But that was before the recent snow...

I wanted to make it there the at the end of the first week of May. Where is fall river in conjunction with bill Moore/red elephant pass?

Yeah, but the only reason you could get that far up is beacuse Dale plows the road to where you stoped in the picture. Those wind blown drifts are deeper then one might think.

Guessing it will be hard to get up in the mountain trails for at least a month or more do to the continuance of snow. Our state needs it so I can't complain.
