Colorado Springs Area

Just drove two days from Virginia to Corado Springs to visit a buddy that's stationed at Fort Carson and I'm looking to do a little wheeling while I'm here. I heard about old stage road, but what can I expect there? Also, is there any other trails that're close?

Last I checked OSR is still closed from the Springs side. You have to drive up and around thru Cripple Creek
Hour west of the Springs there are quite a few fun trails; most still have a foot or more of snow on them.

It re-opened last fall, but I don't know how much snow is up there.

I'm hoping with the rain we get tomorrow, the snow will clear up a little bit.

China Wall (Off the road from US 24 to Tarryall res.). "The Gulches", although they may still have snow. 7 Mile area (near Trout Creek Pass off of US 24, just East of Buena Vista) may be doable.
