Look good, what are the silver brackets for? New mounts for the control arms?

Yeah new mounts, you have to mount them just under the cross member then go get them welded. Only downside is i need to modify my drivers side rock rail because a UCA mount is right where the rail mount is. So I need to find someone who can weld haha.

I can weld, but I don't have a welder.

Those look really nice. Where'd you get them and how much if you don't mind me asking?

RockKrawler latest Gen so no complaints about them. These things better be beefy, each arm is 20lbs of solid metal. I got them from TRC Offroad, for $405...less then all the replacement arms from RE Superflex. I got the mounts welded on by a muffler guy, Ill get those posted later, im at work now.

Similar to xjrrrdx's question, anyone on here want to do some very minor welding? I have banged up my pipe between my muffler and cat a bit too much and the clamp no longer does any good I would much rather pay someone here in beer/cash then some random muffler shop for a quick 2 minutes weld Eric (eelson)?

Jarod where did you get the welds done at? They look ok, but for $60 I would expect cleaner welds

Waterproofing
I'm currently in the process of waterproofing (or actually water-resisting) my brother's jeep and my jeep. I've got an 06 rubicon auto tranny and my brother has an 05 wrangler X manual tranny. Does anyone know how many vents or places on both of those transmissions AND TRANSFER CASES that I would need to seal up or extend vent lines? I just want to make sure I dont miss any when I get under there and look around myself. I would appreciate any other advice anybody can give. Thanks

I know that the manual tranny has a vent line that is very commonly modified just as what you are doing. I have not done the mod myself, and since I have only owned my TJ for a few weeks, I'm not much help.

If anyone needs welding, I would be more than happy to do it. Please don't pay someone to do it. I will do it for free.
Right now is a good time because I have a borrowed 220V MIG. I also have an arc welder which I prefer for thicker stuff.
