All jeeps are fairly capable , do u have anything done ? All I have is a 3" body lift and 31" tires. New steering stabilizer and shocks. I followed my buddies JK through everything, even had a slightly easier time in some parts, not being as bounsy as his wrangler.

Just moved to colorado. Was planning on hitting up left hand tomorrow. But just heard it's closed due to floods. Anyone know if the Jamestown area trails are open? Anyone care to join?

Made a stop at us forest service in Jamestown. Got some great info. Everything east of peak to peak is closed. She directed us to Nederland where we came up on the west magnolia area. It was mostly dirt roads but we started to find some trails near the pipeline but ran out if time had to go get my daughter. But at least I know where to head to and not waste anytime. I'm only one hour from ned.
Any one know where the good stuff is up there. I know there's a group if trails to the north if town..

Middle St. Vrain, Coney Flats, Caribou, and Eldorado Trail might all be open still. Maybe.

Hey everyone been a while since I have been on. Went from a YJ to the Xj, and just added a '13 jk to the fleet.

Anyone heading to the hills today? Itching to get up before it's completely covered in snow.

Pole Hill is listed to be closing Dec 1.

Until then "the trench" is a new (from the rains) obstacle to work with (some pix & vids of it at the link):

That's a great pic. Me and the wifey were talking about going somewhere in Nederland on thanksgiving morning. Perhaps on the hill by 9ish and done around 12:30. I'd be up for any level and am. Capable if going ANYWHERE. Just need someone to show me around. Holler if interested

Not sure what is open or what is accessible. Planning to scout around this coming week but anything over 8K ft is most likely "out of bounds" until spring
