Thanks folks - I heard from the vet through my mother-in-law that if we can get her hydrated, she should pull through.

Bandit the Super Dog is home!

The vet was able to get her rehydrated, and he said the rest of her labs look great. He's amazed at how healthy she is except for the kidney failure...for a 16 year old dog.

She'll be on special renal care food for the rest of her life, which could be a long time. The vet just wants her on that and to bring her back every 6-8 months for lab work to make sure she's still doing good.

Woohoo!

glad to hear your buddy is going to be alright!

i need in on the colorado jeep club! i took my wj up seven mile today with no other vehicles and would have loved some company. I havent had a jeep offroad since 2006 so even being moderately easy trail... i was stoked!

Thinking of taking the ZJ up on Sunday with my fiance and dogs. This will be her first time up in the Jeep so looking for something that will get her hooked to Jeeping like me. Nothing to intense just nice views and a nice day in the Jeep. Any suggestions? I live in Lakewood. Thanks all!!!

I suggest staying away from Colorado Springs, Boulder, and Fort Collins at the moment.

Yeah no kidding. Any idea if the Middle St. Vrain trail is affected? Guess I could always check with the forest service

We will be heading up to Red Elephant hill, today. Not gonna go all the way to Bill Moore Lake(to many bugs) Red Elephant is a 1 way only(up hill) so we will be coming down via bml trail. Then we'll diddle around in that area. Perhaps Jones pass???
Got my front air locker working, an electrical issue. So As far as I know...Jeep is 100%. NO air con though.

Perhaps Red cone tomorrow(Sunday). It's just can't use Webster pass to return and I am no fan of my heap on I-70.

got a new set of tires.
A set of Goodyear MT/R 33 x 12.50 x 15 set of 4 for 6 bills. Used, with a claimed 200 miles on them and only 2 fingernail sized chunks.
Got them off a guy from Colo4x4 dot org.
The thing is...RWL. raised white lettering. They are directional tread, so no facing them the other way.
I saved a mess of cash, almost $500 on the deal, but rwl...

I totally agree with you on the rwl on the MTR's. My TJ had some on it when I bought it and they seem to be great tires. My only complaint has to do with the rwl. Besides not liking the look of rwl in general, when I air down, it causes white to show through the black sidewall and looks crappy. My next set of tires will be black sidewall only and if that means no MTR's for me, so be it. Sounds like you got a good deal and I hope they workout well for you....
