I ran 23.8 miles last week.
The long run was 11.22 miles up the bear creek bike path.
I was pretty sore after that one. So training will take a more serious turn for the next 3 weeks.
Today, on a tempo run(a hard sustained run) I did 4 miles at a 9:15 pace. My fastest ever. Took the dog too, and that cost some time...Thursday, an interval day, 12 220's(1/2 a lap) with rest being walking across the field to the other side. Running hard as I can.
Got 3 more long runs left before the race. 2 12's and an 11.
My body, and muscles are feeling the strain, so I must be careful to not hurt myself or get sick...Would that piss me off!
