I dunno, I bought all this stuff at the end of last week. I guess my expectations were a little high.

Kinda OT...

Has anyone here done business with Formatt Fab before? So far I'm not too impressed with the service I've received from them. It started off about a year ago when I contacted Matt about using my ZJ to prototype some tube doors (I had read a post on another BB about him looking for a donor vehicle). He got back to me and then dropped off the face of the earth. Recently I read another thread about someone talking to him about the same thing? WTF?

Last Monday I sent him an email about a CO2 bracket and adjustable regulator and it took him 4 days to get back to me. I sent another email to him on Monday of this week telling him I wanted to go through with the purchase and he hasn't gotten back to me yet. If he doesn't have time to do business with me, I don't understand why he's trying to run a business in the first place. He's not exactly wowing me with his customer service thus far.

Ug. I can't wait to get my BB and 31s installed. New shocks will be delayed due to money constraints, but I'm going to make some homemade discos too. This is just lame.

In this pic the rear wheel is just about 1/2 an inch off the ground:

Went out exploring today and found a little mound to flex on.

I'll be there. Probably bring my rear post extensions so I can throw those on. Leslie made me nervous at Slaughterhouse when she said my puck was floating when I did that wheel stand where Nick was showing us his "dirtier side"...up above the place we took the group photo.

10:00 still?

Isn't that a good thing to have the spring unseat when flexing?

I wouldn't say its a bad thing necessarily. Obviously if a spring unseats its not going to give you any traction advantage on that corner, but it might make it a little bit more stable. The probelm is that the spring can unseat and pop off the perch. What Jim is going to do is extend the spring post so that it can't pop out. The spring will still be able to unseat.

I've got some post extensions that I haven't put on yet...maybe I should.
