Which trail near St. Mary's do you hit (or FS number if there isn't a name)? I've been on most of the trails up there. I'd think it would take a LOT of winching this time of year.

We could go another day so that Eric can come, maybe the 18th or 19th? I just finished putting in my new radiator so now I can go more than 10 miles from home.

Doesn't matter which day it is to me. I may be going to Snowbird that weekend, but if not it looks like I'll be going wheeling!

Looks like the 20th should be ok for me, unless a teacher decides to change an exam which would suck. That will give me plenty of time to get my bb installed, and get the tires that I plan to buy from ColoradoTJ installed. Then my Jeep will be bigger than Leslie's!!!!!

I'm a no go for the trails on the 20th. I think until I get my rock sliders I'm gonna stay away...even w/the lift. I'd hate to dent her up any worse then I have already.

Do you guys think it's worth the add'l $110 for the LP-1s over the LC-1's from Kevin?

Oh come on, I didn't have sliders on my WJ at moody hill, or when I ran kelly flats......I could go on. Careful driving, you'll be ok.

I got the LP-2's because I wanted a "step" but for the WJ's they don't extend far enough to work as a step with the lower cladding on. On a ZJ they extend far enough for a nice step which is nice If you have the $110 I would do it

This is true, however, $110 is almost a set of disco's! Decisions decisions!

You could make some temporary discos.
You can buy a pin that fits in the hole that the torx bit was, and get a few washers and a cotter pin, let me look around a bit, theres a few threads about doing this.

What, I thought you made some sweet moolah scalping those Broncos tickets?

Regarding the sliders you obviously know what my answer is going to be. In addition to making a nice step to access the roof and providing lateral protection, you can also use a hi-lift on them if you need to.

Discos are also nice...decisions, decisions.

I ran spring creek right at the beginning of the snow melt, the very top is just deep snow but the rest of the trail was runable up until that point. Its fun driving through the creek haha.

Sounds good, but Feburary isn't really the beginning of the snow melt. More like one of the snowiest months in Colorado.
