How come you chose a wide stinger instead of a narrow one? Are your sticking with tube fenders? Are you going to have them go any wider then they are now? Can't wait to see it with your normal tires on it, those tiny tires don't do your Jeep justice

Also Eric what are your thoughts on 5/16th DOM tie rod vs 3/8th DOM?

Well, in my opinion if you have a small stinger and you get your jeep to roll end over the front, the stinger will act as a pivot point and pitch your jeep to one of the side. I guess I think they are not effective. I also feel that it provides more hood protection and radiator. My bender will only bend a 110 degree bend at the most.

Tube fenders are the plan. The will not be wider since my rig is more of a trail jeep anyway. It should be interesting in the rain. Plus, if I don't like it, I am sure I can add some tube to make a flare.

Either size will be fine. I use 0.250 wall tubing for my links.

So we gonna de-virginize Josh's Dad's new garage with the lifts, or we trekking up to Boulder? Good thing about doing it down here is we'll have access to air. Makes things go boo-koo faster.

If I don't start on my lift before Sat I'll come down, but that isn't likely as I imagine if I get it tomorrow I'll start working on it that night

You know you're a Jeep geek when you spend Friday night installing a lift instead of hitting the bar to pick up chicks.

Yeah, but you're a cool Jeep geek when you spend your friday night driving around looking for chicks that need to lift their Jeeps
