I would certainly do LHC again this weekend. How much of it is going to be open due to the fire though? Also, wasn't there a guy fencing off the road above 5 pts?

I also wouldn't mind going to C.O.R.E. either...

My roommate votes for LHC but then again he drives a Titan so his vote is very minimal Just asked co4x4.org about LHC trail closure so I'll report back on that... As far as I know the trail is open though as I haven't read any chatter about it being closed off besides word of mouth

LHC = mountains

Are you sure you aren't just pulling for LHC because its right outside of Boulder?

C.O.R.E. would probably be a better test of your new suspension than LHC would be.

Whew! That was a mouthful.

I don't care where we go. I was going to suggest Chinaman Gulch outside of Buena Vista, but that's probably too far of a drive for most.

Riiiight...4 hours there, 4 hours back, that leaves enough time for what, 30 minutes of wheeling?

Don't get me wrong, I love the BV area...just a bit of a trek for a day trip

Our biggest trouble here is not much is open or even passable due to loads of white stuff. And we all like razzing Arlo about being 10 minutes away from LHC

Wouldn't be a problem if you'd get out of bed before 10:00 Jim.

So LHC again? Man, I can't wait for this snow to melt...

Sure LHC unless someone else suggests a better trail. Earlier we do the trail the better as it can get quite busy there

10 would be great! You're forgetting I'm on Toddler Time 7:30 is the best she does!

Hope I can make this one - Kid just went to the doc, and she's got an ear infection, bronchitis, and croup all at the same time. Planning on finishing the sliders on Saturday no matter what, but if she's still sick Sunday, might be a downer for me. :

And if I ever hear from Josh (no word Saturday, no word Sunday...I'm beginning to think he drove his Jeep of a cliff ), we'll find out if we're doing a 2-Jeep party this weekend...that is, if Arlo gets his coils

You'll probably want to find some bushing sleeves for your rear shocks for the upper mount OR some washers of the right size to space the bushing properly...

So if its LHC where and what time should we meet? Unfortunately I have a stuped mandatory meeting at work Sunday morning, first I heard it was 7-9, now I'm hearing its 7-10. Worst case scenario, I could be in boulder by 11. But I really HAVE to go 4wheeling. I can't miss this one.

Best place to meet for LHC would probably be Safeway out by Arlo's place. Arlo, any other ideas?

Raab, tell those bums at Best Buy to quit messing with our runs!
