I think you came on and said that JP was closed, Coney gets really nasty with a lot of snow from what I've heard. Dunno anything about GG. Holy Cross would be suicide

I've never done Bunce, and it looked fun. Might not be a bad idea.

Everything in the northern neck of the woods is closed this time of year, we went exploring last week and discovered that. I am coming on the 19th, however there is a "mandatory meeting" at work from 7-9. This would still allow me to get to Denverish around 10 for a meeting anyhow though.

Bunce School Road doesn't sound too bad to me, especially with all the snow we've gotten lately.

I don't think I'm ready for a serious trail yet, little nervous of taking the stock TJ into the rocks. I already scrathed it up pretty good up by Hartsel, wife was none too happy, but oh well.

I think anything this time of year is mostly just snowpack, which is pretty forgiving. Anyhow, I'm taking my just barely not stock TJ out in it.

I'd like to explore Coney Flats if it's open, Bunce would be fun as well.

Coney Flats has gates, which are closed in the off season. Also Coney Flats has a bunch of water crossings which are problems when they are partially frozen. Its a great trail and has some good rock obstacles, but probably not a good winter run.

That's what I was thinking. I read a trip report on Coney some time ago that was an early-winter run, and they really gave their winches a workout. I was afraid to take that water crossing 8 years ago or so too...pretty deep water.

I've wanted to check out C.O.R.E. Sounds like fun. Fairly close for us Denver folks, a bit of a trek for Boulder and Ft Collins though.

I checked out their site, HOLY CRAP. It'd be fun for a fully built rig, but is there stuff for us lesser built guys?! Looks like fun though

I think they've got stuff for almost every kind of rig - they just headline the stuff for the beasts. Might be something to think about.
