My Jeep

This pains me, but as some of you may know, I'm joining the Air Force and there is no point in me having a vehicle and a car payment while I'm in Basic Training and then Tech School for upcoming year. So, here it is:
http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/3163237830.html

Also, for Jeepforum members, I'm really not trying to make any money on this, I just need to pay off what I owe, so that would be just a hair over $16k.

Not Jeep-related, but maybe somebody wants it...

I have a Cricket UM185C 3G USB wireless modem that I bought when we went out to New Jersey in January 2011. It was a brick past the Nebraska state line, but it looks like they have better coverage now.

http://www.mycricket.com/broadband/d...ketum185cmodem

No clue what it's worth, so $30 maybe? Make me an offer.

If they need some kind of transfer of ownership, we can hop over to the Cricket store by my house.

Eric - Are you sure you can't have the LJ at school? It would seriously expand your horizons while there...I was one of the few with a car during my 'A' school in Millington, TN and it let me get out away from the crappy front-gate bar scene and into Memphis all teh time!

This. Except for me it was Great Lakes, IL and I went to Chicago.

I can have it while I'm at Tech School, but to be honest this is more a move of financial strategery than anything. The idea being, since I won't NEED a vehicle during this time, and my wife will be here in Colo living with her mom nearly rent free, the money that would normally be going into my Jeep payment/insurance/gas/storage of said Jeep each month can be going toward paying off debt my wife and I have and into savings, and then when I get done with Tech School and get stationed somewhere, buy another Jeep at that point.
That being said however, I'm not exactly pushing the issue with the sale, and I'm not going to go under water just to sell it, so if it doesn't sell, no harm no foul. It's sort of a "if it sells, great, there is an extra $400+ a month into paying bills/savings, and if not, I'll still have the Jeep that I love" sort of thing, if that makes any sense.

Optima Red Top model 75-25. Mfg date 06/2008.

I replaced it thinking (hoping?) that my starting issues were due to that...turned out it was the starter.

Voltage reads just a hair below 12.5v, should have some life left in it.

$200 battery when new, so how about $100 OBO?

Keeping my eyes open for a 21 spline TeraLow 4:1 transfer case kit for a np231 to fit behind an AX5 tranny/4 cylinder. Let me know if you have anything or know of anyone with one. I'll be heading back out to Colorado in a couple of weeks and it would be great to have one lined up for some fall crawling.

Price drop - $75.

I had to take this battery off of the charger to charge up the marine battery for my camper, and it's actually holding at 12.56v. Still a good battery.

Tj Wts: Olympic rocker guards 97-06tj $75

Perfectly good, I just didn't realize they wouldn't come up high enough to cover the rocker flare holes on my Sahara:

Local pick up only for now.
