Colorado Jeepers holiday party

Ok all. It's getting to be that time of year, and since we've all talked about it, I figure it's time to start a thread dedicated to the holiday party. We can call it the X-mas party, Holiday party, Chrismakwanzachuah party....whatever.

Anyway, down to business. What would be the best time frame for everyone to do this? I was thinking somewhere in the middle of December, maybe Friday the 15th (after work) or Saturday the 16th. Not sure if that works for everyone else, but I figured that was a pretty centralized date. As far as location, I think it's gonna be up to one of us to host. I don't know if we want to find a more central member's home, or what. I don't think that I would have any problem hosting, but if someone else wants the duties, then that's cool as well.

Also, were we thinking of doing a Secret Santa kind of thing? If so, just trying to figure out how much of a $$ limit to have, and how to go about figuring who had who.

Give me your thoughts on everything, and throw out some ideas!

I am in for the 15th and if you would not mind hosting that would work the best for us since we have the little one and support staff in the area.

As far as figuring out who has who. One person needs to head that up and everyone will need to post here that they will participate. And PM's can be sent out to each individual who they have.

As far as a limit, I would say not more or less than $30.00????

Later,

Don

I wouldn't mind hosting at all. I will take up dealing the Secret Santa as well, if it makes it easier for everyone else. We can have an RSVP date, and can figure out who for sure will be there, and then PM who has who, just as Don said. I think a $30-35 would be a good limit as well.

I was hoping you would be my secret santa!

I am in Washington until the afternoon of the 15th... it would be easier for me to make a Saturday get together. If it ends up on Friday, I will probably be a little late.

Oh, by the way, if you play secret santa, it is a Christmas Party. None of this holiday party political mumbo stuff

So it looks as though this is who we have attending thus far:

KUK9 -- Josh
Arlo -- Ryan
dnrisden -- Don
Shag -- Shaun
RollerHman -- Ben
REDLYNER -- ??

I'm terrible with names, so fill me in on those that I don't know/don't remember, or those I got wrong. Should we set an RSVP date? I figure this especially for the gift portion.
