new wheels and tires look great!

2 questions...

... why is your rear fender trimmed/rolled only on one side?

... is that a 242HD that you got a SYE for? i thought they didn't make them anymore for the HD?

Yes only one side is trimmed. I am heading over to a friends shop this weekend to trim the other side.

That is a regular 242. Although someone made a post in the ZJ/WJ tech forum the other day saying that Tom Wood is making a 242HD SYE now. Can call up and confirm with them

Ryan are you trimming your rear fenders or rolling them

when i go to 35"s im gonna want to do something about my rear fenders and i dont want to cut them because then i will have o deal with the pinch seam

Cut and roll...

You cut the inner half where you want the new body line to be, then you cut the outer half 1/2" longer then the inner half. Drill some holes in the outer half, fold over the outer half and spot weld over the predrilled holes. tada!. Oh yeah, paint and bondo are put in the mix somewhere as well

I have since trimmed the bumper to match and moved the evap canister back...I have some Herculine I picked up tonight I'll be painting to cover up the bare metal.

Definitely more room! That point at the bottom right of the wheel well looks like it would cut your tire pretty bad though.

What did you use to cut it?

No Hemi swap Kamil
