Looks great. So are you going to trim the drivers side rear fender on your Jeep? Or just leave it unsymmetrical?

No thanks, I did enough damage to my Jeep last time I went through the chutes.

Bought a RSS Cover.

1/2" mounting flange
3/8" plate
submerged bolt heads

It'll go on in the next few weekends when there is some nice weather and I am not skiing

No one makes one for the D44a. That's for the D30. Probably A LOT more beef then I'll ever throw at the D30 cover but it was only $110 ($100 w/o the submerged bolt holes).

i see, but it is the same company? These are 100% lifetime guarantee, unbreakable. I was looking into getting something for the D44 till i was told no one makes anything.

I have a pair of those RS diff covers.
A-50 armor plate 3/8 inch thick. BEEF!

Be sure you scrape all the welding slag off. The cover is not very "clean" when it arrives.

I noticed the price certainlly has gone up on those. My 8.8 cost $90 and the first one arrived a bit warped, so he(Dan of RS) gave me a new one for free. Can't beat that! Spent the money on an install kit for the 8.8. Was impressed enough with the parts, I went back for my D-30 cover.
