Nope, there is quite a bit of room between them.

Definite design change from ZJ to WJ then - swaybars (front and rear) are pretty close to the coils in mine.

Here you can see the axle at full droop (ie: sway bar is as close as it'll get):

That's right...completely different design. Axle-centric bar instead of frame-centric like the ZJ. I spaced that.

Yikes, $177 for wheel bearings, seals, and retainers. I think that order will have to wait a couple weeks

Decided to go through Napa instead of Kolak. I picked up some rear wheel bearings. Napa only had one rear axle seal so since I am not leaking from either side, I'll try and get by like that.

Napa didn't have any (or even list) front axle seals. I'll give checker a shot tonight after work.

The front axle seals maybe a dealer only item, But not sure?!

It will be sweet to see it in action on Black Bear

I have a pair for a XJ HP30, Checker probably calls them inner axle seals. No part number on mine.

edit: probably the inners will be a National part # - 710068

If they are trying to sell you a part # - 722108, I think that is wrong, it's an outer that comes inside a unit bearing.

With MUCHO help from Terry (87Xota) I was able to swap in 4.56 gears this morning. The second the cover came off, I noticed my spiders were HOSED...The pinion shaft spiders had chunks missing from all of the teeth Luckily Terry had some spares laying around from another D30 install he had done

Replaced the front & rear axle seals, rear wheel bearings...

That solved a mini vibration I had beteen 30 and 33 mph. Now I just have a whirl upon decelleration (perhaps it is just the new gears?)
