Looks good Ryan. I bet that thing was a snap to install since the axle isn't under the WJ.

Yep, wasn't bad at all...just had to understand the freaking aussie language...they use some weird terms to describe stuff and write 4 steps down on their instructions over an obvious step - makes you sit there and wonder what they're talking about since your not expecting the intermediate instructions.

Kolak sold them for 180 for the rotors and $60 for the pads

Perhaps if I can notice a braking difference in the rear I'll move the fronts to stillen's as well...

Doubt I notice anything though...and if the cross drilled action messes me up offroad (collecting dirt/rocks/mud) I'll just throw some $90 brembo's on there instead.

Are those any better or worste then the stillen? because i know i need to replace my brake pads and i've read around that I might as well upgrade to better rotors instead of getting them machined.

Kolak & Stillen are mighty proud of the rotors so they better work well! Offroad I doubt I notice a difference...onroad I expect to.

Very nice! How much do you have into it all? Should be plenty strong...now to get it scratched up.

I think around $1100 right now.

Axle was $380, locker was $260, then the rest in the brake lines, rotors, pads, e-brake stuff....cheap build my *** - Seemed cheap when I order each piece

Yeah, but when all said and done, that's pretty good for basically a brand new axle. If I were to get a new axle (D44) from Northridge or somewhere similar, to beef it up with stronger shafts, a locker, disc brake conversion, and a compressor (if I went ARB for the locker), I'd be out about $3k. I think all in all, you did pretty good. I know you haven't done your shafts yet, but still a good build at a good price.

$1100 isn't bad at all for an off-roadable axle with a locker, not bad at all.

I have $1600 in my 8.8, so $1100 isn't bad.
