Cut and roll. Then sanded down the paint where it chips off (at the roll), and "rhino-lined" (different brand though) the exposed metal. I re-paint it every 1-2 years as necessary. This last coat seems to be lasting a lot longer though.
Hey if I run the same lift and then add the bushwacker flares to the setup do you think 35s would be doable? Also before you trimmed could you drive around town without issues. I want to run 35's just don't know if I can or not. It's my daily but I do have another vehicle to drive but would rather not have the WJ down too long. I'm thinking if I can lift it and then mount the 35s and drive around town and see what else needs to be done then I can do those later.
Hey Arlo I was wondering if you could give me a little advice. I have a set of ironmanfabrications adjustable control arms and am at 3.25 inch lift front and 2 inch rear. I am gonna trim up the fenders like you did, but would like to get my 285 70 17 (33s) duratracs on the vehicle but lack the time off work and noticed that you ran yours without doing all the trimming. Did you need to put the axles as forward and back as far as possible to avoid having to trim near the doors or is this the kind of thing a guy needs long arms for? any tips would be appreciated thanks! also im using 17" moabs off a jk with 1.25" wheel spacers
