Understandable, looking forward to seeing what kind of bumper you come up with!
I go up to colorado once a year, from estes park origanally. Talked a little to grakee about making a possible trail run on my trip this summer, mabe we all could meet up, the more dubs the better. Although im not sure how well my jeep would hang with you guys. Def no chutes for my jeeplol. never the less im sure we could have a good time.

Doesn't have to be a hard trail to have a good time here, just getting out is fun

How do you like your Aussie locker? Im looking at picking one here in the next week or so. Im more pissed that no one makes anything for the dana 44a..... Anyway I can image once you install it you wont be towing anything any more correct? Do the street manners suck or do you learn how to redrive the Jeep?

No problems with it since I drive in full-time mode (I have the 242 - that'll behave differently than your 247 does). I don't notice it (except for clicking) on the street and I wouldn't have a problem towing something light (3000lbs or less). But I don't tow so that isn't an issue.

For your set up you would need to learn not to gun it around corners. If you did, it would lock up and release (bang!) which could make it jump to the side when that happens.

And of the new centering post. It isn't sqaure, it is cut on a 6deg angle because the spring post on the WJ is at an angle.
Im on claytons 6" too... Whats the size of your sprong retainers?

Also squeezed the biggest muffler I could find (happened to be the smallest one out there) to fit here:

Welding on top, blind, is no fun.

See the above pic Closest thing I took to a picture of it
how did you do the rear? did you cut it or did you hammer it in below the door?

Cut off a bit, then hammered it over, then tack welded the inner/outer fenders back together. Seam sealer and paint.

Just a question. I am getting a IRO 6.5 inch LA kit within the next week or two. Your WJ has served as my main inspiration, and it actually is the Jeep that convinced my mom to let me get it haha. I want to run 35s, but I am worried about the D30 and the 44a that I have. What are your opinion on running those sized tires on those axles, and also will I have to trim any to fit those 35s?

I run the D30/44a combo and it works fine for where I wheel. I carry spare parts though because it is on the edge. If you're doing a lot of wheel spinning in Georgia you might find yourself breaking more than here.

You'll have to trim to fit 35's.
