Isn't your vacuum cannister behind the rear wheel? If so, not for long

new wheels and tires look great!

2 questions...

... why is your rear fender trimmed/rolled only on one side?

... is that a 242HD that you got a SYE for? i thought they didn't make them anymore for the HD?

Yes only one side is trimmed. I am heading over to a friends shop this weekend to trim the other side.

That is a regular 242. Although someone made a post in the ZJ/WJ tech forum the other day saying that Tom Wood is making a 242HD SYE now. Can call up and confirm with them

Cut and roll...

You cut the inner half where you want the new body line to be, then you cut the outer half 1/2" longer then the inner half. Drill some holes in the outer half, fold over the outer half and spot weld over the predrilled holes. tada!. Oh yeah, paint and bondo are put in the mix somewhere as well

Definitely more room! That point at the bottom right of the wheel well looks like it would cut your tire pretty bad though.

What did you use to cut it?

Angle grinder, then folded the lip over, welded, seam sealed.

No Hemi swap Kamil
