EVERYONES Non-Wheeling Pic Thread

Edit: Everyone is welcome to post pics in this thread!

Well I want a place to post up pics that for the most part, don't relate to wheeling or a specific trip.

I'll start with a hike from yesterday up Gregory Canyon to Saddle Rock. Tons of ice on the trail and some places still had 4ft of snow on the trail. Kind of felt like winter wheeling @ LHC

Looking over North Boulder:

Looking near where I should have been, skiing

First shot at water photography - not bad for not having my tripod with me:

I need a darker filter to get some longer exposures...kept having problems with overexposure on the water shots...

Shot from a few weeks ago...nothing special

And lastly one from my Baja Haha trip:

What kind of camera do you have again? I'm trying to get more into it with the pseudo-wifey's SLR 35mm, and it helps having someone that knows some things.

EDIT- and is this just Arlo's pics, or this to become a new thread for anyone to post pics up in?

Well now I have a Canon Digital Rebel XTi with a 17-85mm IS USM lense.

However, I am still learning how to take a quality picture with it. On the auto setting I keep getting underexposurs. The last pic is my dad camera since mine was swimming that trip

It was going to just be my pics, but I like the idea of it being open to anyone. Post em up people!

I'll leave this as your thread. Maybe we should start a thread for all to post up though- kind of a good idea.

I really like the pics your camera takes though. I'm still trying to learn, but I want to get my digital SLR before I really go at playing with things-- 35mm film and development is too expensive to learn on.

Just keep in mind I tend to do moderate post processing on 99.999% of my pictures. My old P&S camera took better pictures out of the box...

This one came out well - not as cool resized as it is hi-res though. We had a hawk just outside the office last summer, so I have quite a few shots of it.

I need to play with photoshop more...after all the cartoon/tracing/etc pics that keep coming up, it makes me want to do that too. I just need to take some time and play with it, and see how to do things.

I'll throw this one out there.

Taken at the base of Guanella Pass in May of last year. They were just standing at the edge of the road and two were knocking horns together.
