Any of the "old" Colorado Jeep Club members still around?

I at least know Arlo, Raab, and Jim are still kicking around. How about any of the other members from circa 2005?

I'm here.
Never left.
Still have my heep.
Still trail ride.

The Jeep is built now, I'm not spending time and money adding to and modding it anymore.
I ended up with a very capable car.

Trail riding...
Has changed.
Not for the better.
Now-a-days I pretty much keep my rides and pixs to myself.

I do still wheel.
Went up last week and am waiting for the more...interesting trails to wake up.

Yeah, but not sure what to do.

1 x 19 month old that is old enough to Jeep and I think would love it.
1 x 5 month old fetus (due in October) on the way.

Jeep that is under powered and starting to have small issues since I rarely drive it (maybe 6 miles every 3 months).

Do I sell and rebuy in a few years when my life is hopefully more conducive to 4-wheeling? Buying a Jeep that has what I need? A 4 door JK with "V8" power would be great.

Last I heard on rockfrogs.org - Jay is living the life on the East coast doing racing events.

eelson (and the rest of the rockfrogs crew) have become super quiet. Too many kids to plan big events.

Man, kids are the worst (when it comes to 0-2 year old and 4-wheeling).

I would consider you one of the "old" members newracer. I always liked your Jeep. Green TJ on 35s (37s maybe?) with tube fenders?

Good to hear from you Tom. Sorry to hear you don't get out with groups much. We had some good times on runs back in the day.

Arlo, you are having some of the same "issues" that I am it sounds like. I have a 3.5 year old and a 2 year old so I haven't been able to really take them wheeling/camping yet, and it seems like I don't have time to get out even if they were old enough. Couple that with a Jeep that my wife doesn't trust and that means I only drive the ZJ on the weekends or when it snows. Holding out, hoping they build a JK Unlimited with the Ecodiesel next year.

It doesn't get any easier, my sons are 13 and 16, almost all of my free time is spent at their sporting events.

What my jeep currently looks like, 37s.

Yep, I'm still around, just not as active on any of the forums. I haven't been wheeling as much, but the Jeep is here to stay.

Had a mishap in Moab a couple weeks ago, no injuries and no major damage. Hell's Gate claimed a door, but no glass.

Interestingly enough, I actually work with Naturalhoosier. Saw him pop up on LinkedIn shortly after he started and we hand lunch together. His story is similar to a lot of the rest of ours-had a kid and the Jeep took a back seat to life.

The 3 of us still need to do lunch. Nickster and I were talking about it a bit ago, but we never gained traction.

Man I miss hanging out with you guys. I'm in NC, but have been lucky enough to race the KOH EMC the last two years and coincidentally, Josh (kuk9), of the old school CO crew has driven out to Cali to be my crew chief the last two years and has been an integral part of my team.

Nothing over here compares to the scenery, adventure, breweries, and friends I had in CO. I still laugh about some of the crazy stories, anyone remember these events?

It was great catching up with you Ryan!

yeah, I'm still around. We no longer have a Jeep though. We now have an Armada. The SS NattyHoosier that is!

The husband of a co-worker just bought on XJ so i've been living vicariously through him recently! lol

Jimbo! I don't know if it was me who dropped the ball, but we need to get that lunch or happy hour together!!! I love that Park Burger place...or there's Pizza Alley down the road a bit that make a delicious pie. Just be careful, if Ryan goes, he might call you Kevin... BUSTED!!!!
