Zj 1/2 2" ZJ lift...

So I got the 2" spacers...decided to tackle it today.
For those of who have said 'oh, it's an easy 3 hour job'...BITE ME!

I'm 5+ hours into it, and just finished the front end.

Trip to 4x4 shop for spacers.
Stop by parts store for loaner spring compresser.
Get it up on jack stands.
Start taking stuff apart.
Sway bar link breaks.
Other sway bar link breaks.
Put the wheels back on, get off jack stands, drive to parts store for sway bar links.
Get home, back on jack stands, start taking apart again.
Wrong type of spring compressor (really needed a strut compresser)
Put the wheels back on, get off jack stands, drive to parts store for strut compresser.
Get home, back on jack stands, start taking apart again.
Get right side done.
Left side, cannot get sway bar link off lower bolt. Don't have proper torx bit (didn't need for rt side).
Borrow truck, back to parts store for torx bit.
Finish left side.

Now debating if I want to tackle the rear tonight, or drive home with a tall front end...

Don't mind Dave - he's on a lifelong mission to destroy strut compressors. There was a pair a few years ago that called him a doodie head, and he just won't put it behind him

Didn't figure anyone would want to come all the way to Pine on a work day to shove hockey pucks in spings . While I live in Lakewood, I work in Pine, which is where I have a compressor, a large shop, and tools. But if anyone wants to come up to help swap my TCase out when my 231 gets here, all are welcome

And the spring/strut compressers where a huge help. Didn't use them to compress, used them to 'retain'...jacked up the axle (thus compressing the spring), clamped on the compresser...seemed pretty handy to me.

Hell, a little advance notice, and I could probably make it work. Been a while since I spent any time in Pine.
