04/25 Gold Camp - Mt Almagre

Heading up that direction in the afternoon on Wednesday. Just in case anyone is in that area, we'll be on channels 8 or 4.

I won't be able to join you, but please post about the trail conditions if you can! I tried it a few weeks ago and had to turn around at the first sharp left switchback/overlook. Too much snow on the uphill side of the trail.

Went all the way to Timberlime and the trail was nice a clear the whole way. A couple small snowy spots but nothing to worry about. That sharp left hand that looks over the city was completely clear. Looks like it should be improving with the warmer weather.

Heard the Russians were in town training with some Carson guys. Must have saw they were out gunned and decided not to stay.
