He would actually get paid well to do it. Free food, beer, open bar for wedding party, and maybe even a shiny flask as a token of appreciation for being in the wedding.

All joking aside, being broke sucks and when it gets in the way of plans it sucks even more.

Good luck getting "unbroke" Aircruiser

Have fun up at Eagle Mountain Kelly!

Hey guys, I'm heading to French Lake Auto Parts this Saturday. Anybody looking for something in particular, not the usual D44 or skid plates? Not even sure if they'll have many Jeeps, I'm really going for Kaiser parts.

Didn't find the 33s for you, sorry. I did find this though.

It was on a '87 Waggy. I saw it on my way out. Somebody should snatch it up.

Like I said, I was really there for Kaiser parts. For classic cars, this place is the best around. They have actually held on to the old autos, and kept them well organized. The guys working there are great. I picked up the "Kaiser" scripts off a '52 and the horn buttons off a '48 and '52. I am sure I can eBay them for triple what I paid.

I only saw three Cherokees and one Comanche, but I didn't look any further because the first I saw was the Wagoneer with the 44. I did see some old Willys flat fenders and wagons. I saw a few postals too, but I didn't get over to the old truck hill.

If you are looking for a specific vehicle or part, call them up. I had a blast.

Had a pretty good day. Woke up early. Had a big breakfast. Did some grocery shopping, and picked up some stuff to clean up the D44. I just took apart a clock I took out of a '52 Kaiser. I couldn't get it working, but the one out of the '53 still works.

Time for a beer.

I think I'm gonna do fish for dinner. Maybe I'll make a couple pumpkin pies. Seems like a good day to make pie.
