Sorry for the late reply. Blooming Prairie is just west of I35 about 20 miles north of the Iowa border.

I'm living in Minneapolis right now.

No kidding about the gas. I was able to get 20mpg from my XJ when I drove home from the upper peninsula. I took the 2 lane roads and kept it under 60MPH. So if we just follow HWY 65 the whole way...

i dont mind the cold but sun showers suck..worst weather in my opinion. because youre like "yeah the suns out" but then its all wet out and the sun reflects off the roads and blinds you and its pretty much hell

Hey, im up for it. Only thing holding me back is gas money. As long as we all have tow points and help eachother out. Grant, before you put $300 into a sound system, get some friggin tow points.

So true. I just installed a front towhook kit on my rig. Are class II hitches OK?

should be..i will be taking my rear sway bar out soon and im trying to decide between tow points, or a jcr offroad stage II bumper with uni-body tie-in brackets with tow points already on them. i can just use shackles on my reciever hitch for rear tow points..hell i could just get a rear bumper from jcr as well

Well guys, for Grant and I it would be a 3 hour 30 minute drive, 214 miles there, 214 back. Wouldnt be so bad with the CB's to talk to eachother. Assumning an average of 19mpg there and back it would take exactly a tank full, ~$70 which doesnt include gas to drive around in gilbert. If my math is correct, besides buying all of the DNR tags and broken parts, we could probably get by with $100 or so in gas which surprises me.'

I am up for it if we can get enough people. As long as we have enough Jeepers to stick together and help eachother out, we're golden.
