nah the guy i talked to quoted me at $140 a tire and the total was $880 with insurance, $650 without. they said i could get the tires rotated and balanced for free every 6k. they also will rotate the tires on any other vehicle we own. it was a great deal seeing as tires plus wanted to charge me $160 a tire and wait a week on shipping.

so hows the 4 wheeler running? better be running top notch with no problems for the price you paid.

Hahahahahahhahahaha I think its hilar how much we just argue like this. I dont mind it, i dont take it personally at all. I think its just fun thats all

For the ATV, I think I found the problem. Grant, if you ever stepped up to gas rc's or any other two stroke for that matter instead of playing with walmart rc crawlers you might be familiar with the concept of running a 2 stroke engine very rich for break in. You would also know when 2 strokes are cold they are a pita to start. So the combination of cold weather and maintaining a rich fuel mixture to break in the engine is hard...but then again I may just be confusing you.

It will be fine...and I only paid $500 for a blaster thats got a KBB of $2,300 and then he has probably 20 or so aftermarket parts on it. Oh yeah, and I got rid of my rc land vehicles.

Calm down Grant.

I just thought it was silly to buy 4 brand new tires that you may want to go bigger with very soon vs. spending $0-$25 on a used tire to put on for the time being. Junkyards test the tires before they sell them.

Or, you could score a decent stock sized brand new tire for around $75 and then just pay to mount and balance it.

Just my 2 cents.

End of discussion...

Welcome WindowsRookie!

Definately a good feature. Just wait till you get a lift, then you get to hop up into it. And also laugh at people that cant get into it.

Being that you guys are in the subject of tires; what have you heard of retreads? Anyone ever purchased any? Here’s one site http://treadwright.com/default.aspx

I have heard both good and bad things about them. Are you going to try them?

I've heard that they are a great deal, but the sidewalls can be weak depending on the carcasses available. Might be good for a special purpose second set of tires.
