Hey guys, im back! I've been away for awhile as I hadn't been able to do much with my jeep for the past year. I did sell my 97 ZJ to a mechanic to get some work done on my niner however. Turned out to be a good deal given I was planning on selling that jeep anyway.

How is everyone doing?

Looking into doing a auto > manual swap soon. Maybe somebody nearby with some transmission experience would like to give me a hand when I'm ready to install?

Who do you guys like to go to to get your gearing done? Ill be needing to install gears into the hp30 and ford 8.8 I plan on getting. Also, I'm going to end up having to install shorty headers and get custom y pipe made in order to fit my transmission. So, Ill be needing a good exhaust shop for that as well.

BTW, have you guys been on craigslist looking at automotive jobs wanted list? Seems like there are a number of traveling mechanics. You guys have any experience with any of them?

I miss putting my jeep into 4x4.... Still can't figure out the front end. It needs to snow though soon for some parking lot crawling

Welcome there are a couple I've seen running around apple valley and Burnsville with budget boosts. My buddy used to have one on 5" and 35s but he traded it in for a ram

Just joined the forum, but not new to jeeping. Down here in Eyota, east of Rochester. We own 3 jeeps between the wife, son and I, a 2000 TJ that's stock, a '77 J10 woods beater, and a '74 CJ5 light wheelin' rig. Been wheelin' at Donleys woods mostly and a few private lands. Hoping to enjoy Gilbert a few times this year. Hope to see you on the trails.
