I saw Harleysbluff write up on mn-jeep, sounds like you guys had a blast and are now bitten by the Jeep bug.
Look forward to meeting everyone at the crawl.

Oh great, 8" of more snow they are calling for. It's just starting to come down right now. Anyone else tired of this stuff?

Hi guys another MN guy in Burnsville/Savage Border. I have a 1978 CJ7 258 I have been working on past few months. Runs pretty well now. I had a Jeep Truck in the 1970's, family had four Jeeps and in on the start of Schohari County Jeep Club, Catskill Mtns, NY. Great trails there, i miss them.

Sign me up for the local club.

Welcome Fred! Where abouts in burnsville are you located if you dont mind me asking... Any legal trails you know of around here? All there is that i know of are 2 illegal places, and then if you have friends that live on farms in prior lake.

Dear Redhatman,

Thanks for the welcome. I live infront of Menards, hwy 13, few hundred yard. I do not know where to ride close by??? I have a park in back of my home and some ride in there but very small. I have heard there are a few spots by the river bottoms.

I take it you are talking by Sue Fischer Baseball parks, and Mcdonalds? That nature reserve is off limits, the closest place is called "The Pits" and it right off the St. James Parking Lot off of mccoll there, its private property though.

You are correct! I have taken my sled to the area west of the Church but have not driven back there. I am also the one that Lobbied Burnsville with a Petition to Keep the Wetlands. They wanted to mine the area and we stopped them. I do a lot of work in that park also.

You must be close you know the right words.

Aircuiser,

Thanks for the welcome to the MN Jeep Club.

I am also in Menards quite and bit and Like Menards and Fleetfarm. That was not me in the blue CJ, I have a silver Cj with black hard top. I have been working on it for the past 10 months. Here is a pic and starting to drive around and bit now trying to break in the newly built engine, 800 miles so far. I may look for your truck and look you up sometime

Here is my CJ

Just checking in,
We have more snow coming. Lame. I'm trying to sell my outboard, this no help!

That reminds me. Anyone need a clean 63 Johnson 10 horse?

I'm interested in doing the Crawl for the Cure, but is anyone thinking about going up to Gilbert or Spider Lake before that? I like getting away after my skool semesters end. Camping is usually a little chilly in May, but I'd do it if I could hit some trails.
