Trollhaugen Ski Area, Dresser WI. Lots of rigs show up for this one. Mud, Trails, Hills etc. Lots of rigs show up, I know the owners and some guys that go every year. I'll probably go for one day. it costs money but it is private property and its a damn good party. they are very generous to let us wheel there . Gilbert on the other hand is free to use and usually less rigs (less break downs) I have never gone on the crawl but the money goes to charity which is good.It sounds like a good time too! If I'm not out of town or working on Habitat houses that weekend Donoman you can count me in.

Why not make your own bumpers? If you arent getting a tire carrier, and you arent mounting a winch, what would you have to be concerned about other than looks? It doesnt even have to be strong for the main part, just run the tow points straight from the uni and build around that. Buy a roll of wire, pay my dad a couple bucks for electricity and you can use my welder and stuff...My welder performs well on this stuff I would say, heres some finishing welds from tonight.

Yes, I'm talking the Memorial run. It is expensive to go but it sure is fun. You won't see crap like this anywhere! There are lots of Jeeps there but also tons of other brands and custom built rigs. This is not for your average street vehicle, you have to have some serious off road components and driving skill to survive unscathed. Even at that, at 3:00 PM each day they send the towtrucks out to pull in the carnage.

I was just wondering who might be joining us for the circus of off road events this year.

are people there willing to let others ride along with them? i think it would be fun to go but i don't think my jeep could handle much there if it's as hardcore as it sounds
