Western Nebraska

Anybody near western nebraska? Or know of any trails in western Nebraska or Eastern Wyoming?

Scottsbluff Here , Just got the jeep-building a wrecked 06 Rubicon w/ls6. Would guess closest trails would be front range of CO. Maybe Chadron NE?

Im from Scottsbluff, ive found a couple of small places to goof around, but nothing too exciting. Thinking about doing a trip to the mountains soon.

When are you thinking about going?

RYANSTULC 08-21-2008 01:28 PM

When you guys want to crawl some rocks,,,,head up to the Black Hills.
I live in Rapid,,,and go wheel'n regularly.
Also, I travel (to and through) Scottsbluff regularly. You guys must have to look HARD for wheel'n spots.:(

How crazy are the rocks up there? I only have a 2.5" lift and 32" tires...

Trails exist for every type of rig.
There are a lot of trails for your type of Jeep.

The best kept secret for wheeling in Nebraska is Lake McConaughy. You need a park permit to access the beach, but here is what you will find if you go to North Shore, head to the beach, and drive back to the west till you run into the ledges

Nice! I haven't been to McConaughy in a long time.
