Hey guys new to the area and had some question about "the desert." A good friend and flying in to visit me 2 weeks from today. Our plans our camping, fishing, mudding.

Is the "desert" a good place for this? Or atleast 1 night? I am in Willistion and he will only be in town Thursday til noon and leaving sun at noon.

I have a fully locked lx450 with oversized duratracs and would by pulling a boat as well. Is there camping? Is it first come first serve? Is Friday night better than thurs night?

As you see I know nothing about, it so the more info you can provide, the better.

Thanks

The desert would be just fine for that.. there isn't much else in ND for anything offroad. The desert is right by the river but I am not sure about a boat ramp.. someone else may have to chime in about that. I do believe it is first come first serve camping.

There may not be any mud unless we get some rain.. its mostly sand there.

By chance anyone going to the Blackhills Jeep Jamboree? Somehow things worked out where I'll be taking my son. Happens on Sept 5-7.

Sad day but i have to part with my jeep. Don't have any place to put it. If anyone wants a inexpensive jeep for a good price let me know. You not only get 1 but you get 2 no one can go wrong with 2 jeeps for that price.

Nice! Its fun building stuff from scratch. Post up pics when you're done.

Also, any thoughts on another meet and greet sometime after Labor Day weekend?
